GD32F303CCT6
GigaDevice GD32F303CCT6 ARM Cortex-M4 MCU, 120 MHz, 256 KB flash and 48 KB SRAM with a floating-point unit, in an LQFP-48 package.
The GD32F303CCT6 is a GigaDevice GD32F303 32-bit general-purpose microcontroller based on the Arm Cortex-M4 core with a floating-point unit and a digital signal processing instruction set, in an LQFP-48 package. It offers 256 KB of on-chip flash and 48 KB of SRAM and runs at up to 120 MHz, which suits a motor-control, a power-conversion or a signal-processing application that needs the DSP capability and the extra memory. The peripheral set includes general-purpose, advanced-control and basic timers, a SysTick timer and an RTC, three 12-bit ADC units, two 12-bit DACs and interfaces such as SPI, I2C, USART and UART, CAN and USB, and it provides a good general-purpose I/O count for the package. The device operates from about 2.6 V to 3.6 V over an industrial temperature range, and the Cortex-M4 core with the floating-point unit makes a field-oriented motor control and a digital filter practical in a single chip, where a Cortex-M3 would need a fixed-point implementation. Typical applications include industrial control, motor drives and inverters, power conversion, instrumentation and consumer equipment. Every device BeiLuo ships is factory-traceable and includes an import declaration, a certificate of origin and a RoHS compliance file. Our FAE team helps you choose the memory and the package and plan the software and the peripherals.
FAE Professional Review
The GD32F303CCT6 is the Cortex-M4 choice for a workload that benefits from the floating-point unit and the DSP instructions, such as a field-oriented motor control or a digital filter, with 256 KB of flash for a larger firmware. The 120 MHz core gives the headroom for a real-time loop. Confirm the peripheral and the timing differences from an equivalent part before you port the code.

Frequently Asked Questions
What projects suit the GD32F303CCT6?
It suits a workload that needs the Cortex-M4 floating-point unit and the DSP instructions, such as a field-oriented motor control, a power-conversion loop or a digital filter, with 256 KB of flash and 48 KB of SRAM for the firmware.
Confirm the memory and the package for your design.
What does the Cortex-M4 add?
Compared with the Cortex-M3, the Cortex-M4 adds a single-precision floating-point unit and a set of digital-signal-processing instructions, which speed up a motor control, a filter or a control loop that would otherwise need a fixed-point implementation.
